Pavla Břečková majored in Economics at Brno University of Technology (CZ), and conducted her doctoral studies at universities in Great Britain and Denmark. Already during her studies, she started her own business and she has worked in the field of precision engineering and nanotechnology for a long time. Thanks to her work in supervisory boards, she also monitors other industrial fields. Professionally she specializes in foreign trade and strategy in a group of export-oriented companies (the parent company AUDACIO). Scientifically, she works on Technology Agency of the Czech Republic Research projects in cooperation with e.g. BUT in Brno or the University of Finance and Administration in Prague, where she also founded an English study program with a focus on international trade. Institutionally she is devoted to the sector of small and medium-sized companies as Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors in Association of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (AMSP CZ). She comments on economically targeted legislative proposals of the government. She also represents the Czech Republic in Eurofound, which is one of the tripartite consultative agencies of the European Commission, based in Dublin.
